Experience
- Providing legal advisory services to clients on corporate and commercial matters and establishment of Real Estate Investment Trust Schemes (REITS).
- Advised a Kenyan premier developer, operator and asset manager of rental housing in Sub-Saharan Africa in the establishment of the first evergreen Development REIT and Income REIT listed on the London Stock Exchange.
- Successfully advised the only publicly listed income REIT in Kenya on its restructuring.
- Conducted legal and governance compliance audits for banks and conducted legal due diligence for companies.
- Drafting contracts which include but are not limited to Share Purchase Agreements, Share Transfer Agreements, Service Agreements, Sale and Purchase Agreements, Consultancy Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, Partnership Deeds.
